Gooey Butter Cookies

2 dozenIngredients
- 1 stick of unsalted butter, room temperature
- 1 brick of cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 box of vanilla cake mix (15 oz.)
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Whip the butter and cream cheese together in a large mixing bowl, until smooth. Add the egg and vanilla and mix thoroughly. Blend in the packet of cake mix. Roll dough into 1 tbsp sized ball and cover with powdered sugar. Position cookies approximately 1 inch from each other on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 15 minutes. After removing from oven, allow cookies to cool completely then sprinkle with more powdered sugar as desired. Refrigerate cookies when not enjoying!
